Uzbek is a Turkic language and the official language of Uzbekistan. It has between 20 and 26 million native speakers and is spoken by the Uzbeks in Uzbekistan and elsewhere in Central Asia. Uzbek belongs to the Eastern Turkic, or Karluk, language group of the Altaic language family.

An important note when preparing scripts in Uzbek: Since 1992, the language is officially written in the Latin alphabet, but was written in Cyrillic letters prior to that point (since 1940). Please let us know how your script is written so that we can make sure your production is seamless!
